The Guitar-Violin Project has been in existence since January of 2005 and has performed at over 750 events.
Maria Wilson - professional guitarist, founder of the Guitar-Violin Project and five time Guitar Scholarship winner to Duqesne University's guitar and bass program is the feature guitarist for the duo in both the Harrisburg and Pittsburgh areas.
The Guitar-Violin Project is a unique blend of music, so different from your typical string duo or ensemble. The project plays Mozart, Bach, and Chopin for your wedding ceremony but we also perform great arrangements from The Eagles, U2, Nickelback, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Lifehouse, and so much more! We perform all over Pennsylvania and Maryland!
The project performs all styles of music and much more! The duo specializes in weddings but is available for any occasion. They can play for your "Big Day" or we can jam out at your next party!
The duo features Central Pa's best violinists from the York Symphany, the Central Pa Orchestra, Harrisburg Sympony, Pittsburgh Symphony, and Strings By 2.
