Maria Wilson

Maria has been teaching private guitar and electric bass instruction for over 20 years. She has studied with some of the best instructors in the country, including David Cullen (Windom Hill), Marcia Englar (Peabody Conservatory), Frank Romeo (Manhattan School of Music), and Michael Manring for electric bass. Maria was the winner of the 2002, 2003, and 2005 Fingerstyle Guitar Scholarship at Duquesne University Guitar and Bass Workshop, sponsored by Martin Guitar, Fender, and The Guitar Society of Fine Arts. Maria is also a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with a Music Marketing Degree.

Maria is currently studying drums and percussion with Jim Ebersole and is teaching beginner intermediate drums.

Maria teaches Mondays through Fridays at her home studio.

Maria is also on the faculty at Harrisburg Area Community College/Lancaster Campus and teaches guitar, music business, and music theory on Saturdays.

In addition, she teaches guitar clinics and rock music clinics for several recreation facilities in Central PA.

On weekends, Maria performs featuring the music from the six albums she ahs recorded and also in her guitar and violin duo, The Guitar-Violin Project. She is also the percussionist for the classic and modern due Chain Reaction.

The cost of the lessons is $75 per month for 4 half hour lessons. If there are five weeks in a month we will not meet the fifth week. If you need to cancel a lesson you must give 24 hours notice or you will forfeit the lesson otherwise lessons will be made up based upon availability.
