Guitar and Violin Duo

Looking for the perfect combination for your occasion? Acoustic Crossover is the beautiful and complimentary sound of the violin and guitar fit for any event. We an eclectic variety of classical, new age, Celtic, rock, and original music.

On violin - Ms. Molly Rahe, graduate of Mansfield University, Pa,  holds a degree in music education. She has performed in the Hanover Symphony Orchestra, several string quartets, and ensembles and is teaching an abundance of private students for the Menchey Music Education Center in Central Pa. Molly is a phenomenal violinist and vocal talent. She is the "melody" for Acoustic Crossover.   

 On guitar - A premier solo guitarist with five albums of her own, Gifts From My Guitar, and Live at the Wire, Maria has performed her unique instrumental contemporary guitar sound throughout Pennsylvania and the Eastern Seaboard.  Maria's "2000" release Generations, has been featured on radio stations throughout Pennsylvania and is also on Wyndfall Records, an indie label based in Central Pennsylvania.  She was the recipient of the 2002 Martin Guitar Scholarship for Fingerstyle Guitar at Dusquene University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Dusquene's program is ranked the #5 music school in the country.  She has also been a performer at venues such as The Belmont Stakes, Atlantic City Beachfest, and The Philadelphia Fair. She has shared stages with Roger McGuinn, Livingston Taylor, Dar Williams, and Naked Blue.  Maria continues to astonish audiences with her intensified and complex instrumental guitar show.

Nightwind

Nightwind performs at such venues as Hershey Park Amphitheater, Nissley Vineyards, the Mountville Lawn Concert Series and many more venues in the Central PA area. We specialize in weddings and corporate functions. Nightwind is very versatile in that we can play as a 5 piece, 4 piece, 3 piece and even as a duo to fit any occasion.

Hanover String Quartet

Founded in 1976, The Hanover String Quartet was formed by four classically trained musicians to further their enjoyment and promote chamber music to a wider audience.  Being all accomplished professional musicians, members of the Quartet have appeared with notable artists such as Robert Goulet, Shirley Jones, El Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Liberace, Johnnie Mathis, Englebert Humperdink, Dionne Warwick, Richard Harris, Natale Cole, Bernadette Peters and others.

When not appearing as a Quartet, they have been kept busy by playing for other musical organizations such as the Harrisburg and York Symphonies, Dickinson, Gettysburg, Western Maryland, and Shippensburg College Orchestras, Frederick Musicata, Hershey Arena Orchestra and a variety of other ensembles in the South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland areas.  

The Williams Duo

Sarajane Williams studied music from an early age. Her numerous appearances have included concerts at both "Musikfest" and "FirstNight-Bethlehem" as well as many other events throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. In addition to the standard classical repertoire, she also performs traditional Celtic music and popular standards. Sarajane is also a composer/arranger and author, and frequently lectures on harp related topics. her CD Nature Suite was released last year.

Ted Williams has been called "a first rate classical guitarist with masterful ability" by The Express (PA). His performances have taken him throughout the U. S. and abroad, and he has been a featured soloist with The Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia. "Deft Performances By Guitarist Leaves Crowd Breathless" - The Morning Call (PA) (Headline). "Pennsylvania Virtuoso" -The Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society.

Since forming the Williams Duo in the 1980s, Sarajane and Ted had have developed a large and loyal following. They regularly appear at some of the finest hotels and country clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region. Their unique blend of musical styles is ideally suited for wedding ceremonies and receptions where listening music is desired, as well as at other special events. Their extensive repertoire includes classical, jazz and popular styles.

Maria Wilson

     A premier solo guitarist with three albums of her own, Mary Artuso's Dream, Images of the Past, and Live at the Wire, Maria has performed her unique instrumental contemporary guitar sound throughout Pennsylvania and the Northeast and Southeast.  Festivals, colleges, fairs, coffee houses, country clubs; Maria has done them all.  Mary Artuso's Dream has aired on several radio stations throughout Pennsylvania.  She has also opened up for Roger McGuinn and was a festival act at the Little Buffalo Arts Festival with Livingston Taylor.  Maria continues to astonish audiences with her intensified and complex instrumental guitar show.  Maria will be releasing in October of 2000 her premier CD "Generations" which will feature a diversity of new age, blues, new grass, and classical guitar instrumental music.  Maria plans on doing mini-tours in the spring and summer of 2001 up and down the coast promoting her new CD.

Azure Trio

An exciting trio of flute, oboe and cello. The sound of the Azure Trio provides "clearly beautiful music" for your special occasion, whether a wedding banquet, open house, company party or reception. All members of The Azure Trio are professionally trained musicians with years of experience. The Azure Trio has a unique repertoire of standard classical repertoire in addition to jazz standards and folk literature.

The Susquehanna Ensemble

The Susquehanna Ensemble, a unique flute, oboe, viola, cello, and bass quintet, promotes and performs original, acoustic music through concerts and lecture/workshops.  The SE provides chamber music to a wide audience, using unusual instrumentation and fold elements.   Found in the fall of 1993, this quintet has received sterling reviews from recent performances.  Their repertoire includes their eclectic, original compositions mixed with standards form the classical, folk, jazz & other improvisational idioms.

Class Act features Rita Angelucci, one of Central PA's finest female vocalists.  Add "high energy" horns and Harrisburg's best rhythm section, and now you have one Class Act!

Mark Huber

Mark Huber was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where he studied classical piano with Kathryn Johnston.  He received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance form Westminster College., New Willmington, PA.  While there, he performed the Mendelssohn G Minor Concerto with the college orchestra as the winner of its annual concerto competition.

Huber has been featured as jazz piano soloist at the Pennsylvania Academy of Music in Lancaster, and with the Lancaster and Delaware Symphony Orchestras.  The Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz describes in its newsletter of October 1994: "...easy and effortless playing...plays with assurance and confidence...versatility as a player, with facility in diverse styles."

EvAnn Dahl-Weimer

The Visitors

The Visitors are one of  Central Pennsylvania's most requested variety bands.  Comprised of five members, featuring a male/female front "team," The Visitors put emphasis on popular music and audience rapport.  Form classic 50's to current dance music, The Visitors will tailor their music to ensure audience satisfaction.

For over a decade The Visitors have performed regularly in the PA, Baltimore and D.C. areas. Banquets, conventions and weddings, where great care is needed to make special events a success, are their forté. This includes age appropriate music, excellent emceeing and superb communication with event staff and/or wedding parties. No other band matches The Visitors' attention to detail and audience satisfaction. Along with top-shelf musical and vocal talent, professional yet unobtrusive sound and lights are always used to create a warm atmosphere for the occasion.

 The Visitors have been thrilled to be chosen to play many extraordinary venues. A few of the hundreds of past performances include: The nation's most prestigious resort - The Greenbrier in West Virginia (2005 by special request), The Baltimore Omni-Inner Harbor, Hershey Convention Center, The Hotel Hershey, 4 repeat  New Year's Eve engagements as the featured artist at the Carlisle Corvette Show - the nation's largest Corvette show, and special 'trio' performances at the Belmont Racetrack. . .home of the Belmont Stakes

Cameo String Quartet

Formed in 1989, the Cameo String Quartet is one of the oldest established string quartets in the greater Harrisburg area.  This unique, all-women's quartet creates an aura of elegance and refinement for any special occasion.  These versatile musicians perform in a variety of settings, including banquets, parties, religious services, concerts, and recitals.

Third Stream

The group recorded the single "In Remembrance," in 1979 and a year later released their first album.  "Gettin' It Together."  Third Stream also organized and produced "Just Friends," and "Just Friends Again," tow record albums featuring the talents of eight Central Pennsylvania jazz musicians.  In 1989, Third Stream released their first video and compact disc, "Black Widow."  the quartet continues to bring the music they love to the people through concerts, clinics, and lectures.  Third Stream has stood the test of time, and is here to stay.
